Speaking of installation, James also mentions the fasteners he used for the project. “I attach it to the gunwale with your #6 size Stainless Steel finish washers and #6 size 5/8 inch long stainless steel flat head screws, with the screws being 4″ apart to keep it from sagging or pulling away from the gunwale.”
